You can expect the following process when you are having microblading done for the first time or it has been more than 18 months since your last microblading session.
Your free 30-minute consultation can be scheduled online via Schedulicity. The consult will give you the opportunity to learn more about the procedure, discuss your desired results and ask any questions you may have. If you decide that microblading is right for you, a non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your Initial Appointment.
2. Initial Appointment
This appointment usually lasts about 90 minutes and creates the foundation for your new brows. You will sit with a numbing agent on your brows for the first 30 minutes. During this time, you will discuss shape and color, review aftercare instructions and ask any remaining questions.
Next, measurements will be taken, and your brows will be mapped, which creates a guide for stroke placement during the procedure. When you are happy with the planned shape, the actual microblading begins.
3. 6- to 8-Week Touch-Up
This follow-up microblading appointment is strongly recommended, as it allows color to be adjusted and/or more density to be added. Generally, only 40% to 60% of the pigment is retained in the first appointment, so this touch-up allows for more strokes to be added and more pigment to be deposited.
4. 12- to 18-Month Touch-Up
Remember, microblading is a semi-permanent procedure, so an annual touch-up is recommended to help you maintain your beautiful microbladed brows. If you go longer than 18 months without a touch-up, you will need to schedule an Initial Appointment.
