Our Styled Adventure: Final Days in Paris

I do not want to write this post. I do not! I do not want to believe this amazing trip is really coming to a close, but it really is. None of us are ready for the reality that is coming; that I can assure you.

Let me tell you about the rest of our trip. In the last post remember, we just came back in to Paris from the stunning south of France. Being late at night and missing a short little nugget (Maggie), we couldn't wait to leave the train station, get some food and call it a night.

Let me tell you about the rest of our trip. In the last post remember, we just came back in to Paris from the stunning south of France. Being late at night and missing a short little nugget (Maggie), we couldn't wait to leave the train station, get some food and call it a night.

We had a big next day planned. This was the day we briefly mentioned before where we rented an open-air scooter and super-cute Frenchman to take us around all of Paris. We saw sooo many beautifully amazing things! You just can't even unless you have been there.

I mean seriously stunning. I forgot to tell you we also took a boat tour at nighttime on the Seine — to die for! I highly, highly recommend it.

I mean, come on! Every time I look at those pictures, it's like I am back on that boat taking in these amazing views. You just can't even believe you are seeing it in real life. Emily does an absolutely amazing job telling the story of our adventure through her photos.

Back to our day of open-air scootering ... we went to lunch and shopped, saw all of the amazing spots you would want to see while in Paris, dropped our stuff off at home, and then set out for dinner and to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle. Are we serious right now??!!! Be still my humble beating heart. What a site to see!

Emily might have crashed another wedding photo session while we were sitting in awe of the tower.

We stayed till we couldn't keep our eyes open anymore. Then, we had our French boyfriend take us home. Time to sleep ... we have our final styled shoot set up for the morning. Early too! At 6 a.m.?? I think we missed the vacation part of this.

Even our model thinks it's too early!)

Are you ready to see my hair?

I told you it was awesome, didn't I? I think I'm going to use it as a new style option.

I know! Stop it, right? Sneak peeks are so annoying.

I'm avoiding the inevitable. You know what's coming: the end. I can't even handle it right now.

We finished the shoot, took showers, got ourselves ready for our last day in Paris and went off. We had a little breakfast — I'm pretty sure I’m still drool thinking about the French bed and breakfast with butter and jam. Take me back. Then, we had an early lunch/dinner celebrating Maggie's birthday, and we went home to our amazing flat to pack and relax. The travel was sure to be a lot.

Our trip wouldn't be complete with out taking pizza in. (I've been detoxing for seven days now.) And yes, we did have to use scissors to cut our pizza.

We went to sleep, and then next we knew, we were headed for the airport. The heartbreaking reality jolt begins.

Most of our travel was smooth(ish), kind of. We barely made it to the gate in time for our connection to Iceland, and then, we were delayed for 40 minutes in Iceland. Shit. Our time in between landing in Boston and taking off was only an hour and a half. That left us just with 50 minutes. We had a plan: Run like hell, and don't stop till we get to United.

Pay for global entry, people. It is worth every dollar and every second. We skated through customs. We did not, however, skate through terminals, shuttles, confusion and maybe some yelling.

I'll let you guess what happens ... We didn't make it to the counter in time. They closed the gate. I cried; we rallied. We looked for other options: other airlines, trains?! Something, people, something!

It was like our journey was supposed to end like this. Emily and I looked at each other, and it was like we knew, “Are you thinking what I am thinking? Let's drive home.” Maggie decided she wanted to take the flight option they had, which flew her to New York and sent her to Cleveland the next morning, and Emily and I just wanted to be home. So we did just that.

Ten hours in a rental car overnight, after we had been on planes for 8 hours, and lots and lots of deer. (I was entirely sure we were going to die and also regretting my choice of declining their rental insurance.) I'm pretty sure both of us thought it was a bad choice multiple times through the drive, but with each passing hour, small naps and rest stops, we were inching closer to home. There really is nothing like home. It was the right choice for us, and I know we both would do it all over again.

Did I ever tell you how much I hate driving long distances in the car?! We arrived at 6 a.m., and we have lots of funny stories we can tell you that don't translate well via writing. (Ask Emily about her eyes crossing.) We dropped off our rental car, hired our last Uber and set off to our own homes.

I'm crying. This isn't real. What a whirlwind, what a dream. What a life we have been fortunate enough to live. But, don't cry yet! We have one more post for you that I'll share soon.

With so much love, endless gratitude, excessive hope and so much inspiration, we are crawling gratefully into our own beds and getting ready to fully re-enter our normal lives.

Our Styled Adventure: France

We landed in Paris late on Tuesday evening. Everywhere has been an adventure, but Paris really kept the ball rolling! We flew into BVA (Beauvais), which is about an hour outside the city. (The things you learn when you travel: Pay more for a closer airport.) Anyway ...

We landed, everything was closed, and it was pouring down rain. We ended up spending an insane amount of money on a cab to Paris, but who cares, right? We are running wild and free. An hour later, we arrived in the Latin Quarter, which is where our super-cute flat with a terrace was located; we got ourselves settled in and passed out.

It was probably our longest night of sleep yet ... and heavenly might I add. Maggie went off on the first day and spent some time with family who was in town. They went to breakfast, on a Segway tour, to lunch and shopping, and then, we all met for dinner. (We really like food. Can you tell yet?)

Emily and I went walking around the city, we needed to get a few things for our styled shoot the next day and wanted to acclimate ourselves with the area. We found literally the cutest flower shop ever, with only the greatest florist ever: Au-delà Des Prés. Anne Leroy was the florist’s name. The cutest. We loved working with her so much we worked with her again, but I'll save that for the next post!!

So on our way we went with a floral plan in hand. We then went to get our nails done and stopped in some of the many Paris shops. We had lunch and then went to see the Eiffel Tower. It really is so extraordinary and beautiful to see in person. And then ... are you ready for it? We took a scooter ride with Ayman, our newly dubbed French boyfriend.

We had so much fun on the ride, we asked if he was available for full-day-ish tours, and he said, “Yes!!” Oui oui, we scheduled that for Saturday. What’s better than to see all of Paris in an open-air scooter??

In the mean time, we had a pretty wild, not-exactly-planned trip to take for our styled shoot. Picture taking nothing with you but your tools needed for your part of the job and a travel toothbrush, then taking a train to Nice and deciding it was best to sleep over so we didn't have to rush the sunlight. That meant we had to find a place to sleep (thank God for Airbnb) and that we had no other clothes ... What the hey, right?? It's really an adventure. We also decided that we might as well take a train from Nice to Aix-en-Provence the day after our styled shoot to explore more of the south of France before we returned to Paris.

As for Nice ... AMAZING! Everyone needs to go there once in there lifetime. Holy tomatoes, is it beautiful!

The styled shoot was ... um? ... to die for. Here are some sneak peeks.

After the styled shoot, it was time for bed as we had a really early train to Aix-en-Provence ... or so we thought anyway. Let's just say we missed the first train, but not because it had actually left the station before we got there, but because we were looking for a gate that didn't exist. (Turns out it was the word and in French.) Listen, I think we have established that we’re cute but not necessarily the smartest crayons. Eventually, we made our next train and decided the best way to explore was to rent a car, which we did for the afternoon.

Amazing. Beautiful. Incredible. ADD IT TO YOUR LIST. Also, learn as much French as possible because they really don't speak any English. (Google has an amazing translator you can use on your phone though.)

We had a train scheduled for that evening back to Paris, so it was time to return the car and head to the train station, except that other plans were made for us — at least for a while. There was a bomb threat/scare at the station. They evacuated and had to go through the whole rigamarole, but can we talk about how terrifying that is when they can barely speak English, and you barely speak French, so you really don't know what's going on?? Just people saying bomb, explosion over and over, and then you watch the bomb squad roll up in their gear with the robot camera. Suddenly you think, “What distance do I need to be away from this station to be safe?” Eventually they were able to establish that it was just someone who forgot their luggage (how does that happen??), but thank you, God, we were safely on our way back to Paris.

I'm pretty sure that was enough adventure for all of us. We were ready for sleep and to relax. Our trip is nearing the end, and before we know it, back to the real world we go!!

In gratitude and peace ... xoxo,

Our Styled Adventure: Dublin

I thought I would try something different with this post. Our experience in Dublin has been wonderful, and Emily has the most amazing pictures to share, so instead of writing a lot, I am mostly going to let the photos tell the story of our last few days in Ireland. Enjoy!

I thought I would try something different with this post. Our experience in Dublin has been wonderful, and Emily has the most amazing pictures to share, so instead of writing a lot, I am mostly going to let the photos tell the story of our last few days in Ireland. Enjoy!

Saying goodbye to Marie!!

We stayed just across the river from Temple Bar in the Ha'penny Bridge Building on the Millennium Bridge and the River Liffey. It was a super-cute Airbnb with a great amount of space.

We dropped our stuff off and went out pretty much right away. We had a lot of city to cover in two short days!

The River Liffey.

The hustle and bustle.

Reminding you to look the right way when crossing the street. Don't worry, Mom, I made sure to look both ways!!

We saw many beautiful architectural pieces on our walks.

And, of course, shopped our heads off. The below photos were taken at an amazing shop called Avoca. It's like our Anthropologie. Oh em gee, let's send the whole store home!

We finished our first night in Dublin at a pub called the Quays in Temple Bar. We were in search of Irish food, and luckily, they had a sampler that allowed us to have a few bites of each and really get to experience their specialties. Then, we called it early that night to do some laundry and have fun with face masks.

We were ready and excited to explore again the next day. It's raining; it’s pouring. We learned just how "water-resistant" our coats were not, and to think, we all got up and did our hair that morning. The shame! 😉 Eventually, we wised up and bought umbrellas. Mine is sooo cute!!

At brunch for the day!

On our walk to the post office to ship back half of Maggie's belongings and some of Em’s new purchases.

When we finally bought our umbrellas ... wait till you see them!

So cute, right?

Em loves puddles.

Since it was a rainy day, we made it our pub day and explored many different places. There is, again, a possibility that I got us lost for about 35 blocks out of the way, but what would this be if it weren't an adventure of exploration?

Soaking wet, we finally made our way back to Temple Bar and settled in for dinner at a super-awesome place called Elephant & Castle. We highly, highly recommend it if you are ever in Dublin.

We also went to the Quays again, but this time just to the bar, and danced for a while to an American cover artist. Everyone in the pub was dancing and singing their hearts out.

Then, we made our way in search of traditional Irish music and maybe a pub more or two. We landed in the perfect spot: the Temple Bar Pub. They were playing all the right music, and Em was in heaven.

We stayed out late, enjoying that last full night in Dublin and experiencing the night life and music. We still had a full day before we would head off to Paris and had planned to meet my, let’s say, pseudo-grandparents, who live just outside of Dublin. (Really, they’re my uncle-by-marriage’s parents.)

They are the cutest and the sweetest! They picked an amazing restaurant, and it was our absolute pleasure to spend our last day in Dublin with them. After all, when you are hanging out with true Irish people, lunch can be a whole-day affair. (As a side note, I hope to hold on to some of the European customs I have experienced — for example, really taking the time to not only enjoy my meal but also all the people I am with!!)

We dubbed Maggie the selfie queen. 😉

We shared each other's meals and desserts.

Eventually, it was time to say our goodbyes and head to the airport.

And, in the blink of an eye, we had left Ireland and were on to the next leg of our styled adventure: France! What a life we live, and what a dream this has been! There are so many more experiences to share and so much more love to be had.

Until next time ... au revoir from Paris!

xoxo,

Our Styled Adventure: Ireland, Styled Shoot #2 & Car Excursions

I'm not sure if you have driven a car in a foreign country — or specifically one where they drive on the opposite side of the road and car — but it's quite ... um ... a mix of terrifying and exhilarating. 😁 I'm also not sure if it's worse for the driver or the passengers! Let's tell a little story.

We needed a car to get around Ireland, so when we originally rented the car, we decided to get one that wasn’t too large due to the very narrow roads. Good choice; however, I'm traveling with three other women, who possibly thought they were going out of the country for at least a year. They each packed two suitcases — big ones — and a carry-on, plus an additional bag of some sort. 😭😩 That means squeezing seven suitcases plus four people into a small car. Holy Pop-Tarts, people, that's a lot of stuff and a small amount of space to be smashed in for long, long drives. Add to that Maggie basically relearning to drive in a foreign country, and we were off to a very anxious, very cramped start.

Our first drive was six hours-ish from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher, but once we got acclimated, we could really enjoy the beauty of our passing surroundings. It really is incredibly green here, rolling hills and tons of sheep. It’s beautiful — stunning actually — and completely different from anything I think any of us have seen before.

We drove through Limerick, explored Ennistymon and all held our breath as we experienced the tiny roads that led toward Liscannor. Guys, the landscapes are B-E-A-utiful. I am a sucker for water (obvs), so the ocean and the coast with all the greenery and rolling hills ... Oh Mylanta, this really is the trip of a lifetime! We reached our B&B, adopted Mary as our Irish mom and let the locals tell us where to go for dinner. On our way, Em found her first penny.*

We planned our styled shoot for the next day, so we had some work to do over dinner. Mostly, we just enjoyed our first truly Irish meal, Em finally had her "real Guinness," and we took in the breathtaking views of the cliffs on the water. With our styled shoot the next day, we were early to bed; we had had quite enough adventure for one day.

Styled Shoot Day — Woo Hoo!

The flat iron I brought ended up blowing out in Iceland, so we had to go on the hunt for a curling iron. That's not a typical experience in Ireland on the outskirts of a tiny town, but luckily, the pharmacy had an iron we could work magic with. Then, it was off to find a florist. We went two towns over and met a lovely lady named Sheena who gave us some pretty stunning flowers and our most favorite: a flower crown. We also picked up Maura (our model), who took a bus in from Galway, did some hair and makeup prep, grabbed some lunch, and then, it was time to shoot!

We chased locations for a bit trying to find the ones that suited Em’s visions the most. We started in a glass-topped graveyard, which was beautiful, but none of us felt like we could shoot there. We knocked on doors for sheep and pulled off of the road to get the perfect shot. We really found our groove in a couple of places: the remains of a stone house just off the road, the steps walking into the freezing cold ocean and the CLIFFS OF MOHER. Don't fall down, but it's as amazing as you think. We can only share sneak peeks, annoying we know, but how cool will it be to see when they are published?!

We ended our breathtaking day of shooting with a terrifying drive in the dark around Corkscrew Hill and a trip to Supermac's in Galway (think: McDonald's) to drop off Maura.

Our next day was filled with more adventure, as it was time to leave the cliffs and head toward Wexford. It was time for the beach!! At least for beautiful views at the beach. It's still a little chilly this time of year. 😉

We stayed in a small town called Duncannon, took in the spectacular views, walked the quaint little town, found the fort of Duncannon and, of course, explored the pubs and restaurants. It was a wonderful but short visit — I might have forgotten to mention that the drive that was supposed to take us three hours ended up taking six. I can't say for sure if that was my fault or the GPS, but something happened, and we went on a wild-goose chase, but after all, that's part of the adventure.

We left bright and early the next morning because it was time to head to Dublin. Sadly, it was also time to take the newest member of the Dream Team, Marie, to the airport. It was so sad, but on we must go. Gratefully, we returned the rental car, took an Uber to our flat in Dublin and set off to explore!!

I can't wait to share our Dublin adventures with you, but for now, it's time to eat and sleep!

With a full heart and a grateful mind ... xoxo,

H

* Remember the “angels” we told you about in the first “Our Styled Adventure” post? The three sisters? Anyway, when Em shared with them that her dad had just passed, they told her to look for pennies, that that was him leaving her signs that he was with her along the way. (Crying? I know, me too.) She found her first penny in Liscannor, a kilometer from the cliffs, in the sunlight surrounded by the most stunning views, a place he always wanted to visit, letting her know that he has been with her this whole way through.

Our Styled Adventure: Styled Shoots, Plane Rides & Ireland

There's a special buzz on the day of styled shoots. The energy is strong, the excitement is palpable, and being that we were in another country, we were on fire!

We spent the morning of our shoot meeting up with our newest Icelandic Viking, Gudrun, for brunch in the harbor. (I lovvveeee boats! Did I mention that yet?) It was probably our favorite restaurant so far. Gudrun was so helpful. She made phone calls for us, helped us map things out and made our Iceland trip totally possible and wildly fun!

There's a special buzz on the day of styled shoots. The energy is strong, the excitement is palpable, and being that we were in another country, we were on fire!

On our stroll to brunch.

Our Icelandic pal, Gudrun.

After brunch, we had some shopping time to buy all of our goodies and eat a true Icelandic hot dog, then it was time for shoot prep. We met our model, Jórunn, in person for the first time when she came over for model prep. Woo hoo!

A little over two hours later, we were ready to shoot, and a car ride and a few missed turns later, we arrived at the photo shoot location. Oh. Em. Gee. Stunning! I think it's safe to say we might find normal styled shoots boring from here on out. 😘

It was probably not the ideal weather situation — freezing and a drizzly rain — but we are shooting, people ... rain or shine. That's how it rolls. Just wait till you see the sneak peak of the location below! Jórunn’s fiancé, Böddi, and kids made an appearance at our location and totally tried to steal the show. 😉

Even though we can’t reveal the styled shoot photos just yet, here's our sneak peak! Don't fall over ... I know I did ... OHHHH EM GEEE! STUNNING.

I'll wait to keep going until you wipe away the drool. Don't worry, we feel the same!

After we finished up shooting, dropped off our model and went to eat dinner, we realized that Emily left her camera bag, including her passport and all of her credit cards, at the photo shoot site! Ah, crap. As we tried to speed back to get it, we kept getting lost! But, have no fear, we eventually made it back, and Emily's bag was right where she left it. Thank goodness! It was then time for our final Iceland adventure ...

WE WENT TO SEE THE NORTHERN LIGHTS BY BOAT!!!! Only my favorite thing in the whole world.

We rushed to make it on time, had a takeaway dinner on the boat and then set off in the cutest red overalls you ever saw. And, if you think Iceland is freezing, the wind off the water is 1 million times colder. Anyways, I digress ...

We saw the northern lights from the boat! Stop the world. My life is complete. (Well, this portion anyways.) It was cloudy still, so it wasn't like the whole sky was lit up, but you could see the lights dancing thru the breaks in the clouds. Even with cloudy skies, it was amazing and soooo worth it! Sadly, all great things come to an end, and with that, our time to explore in Iceland had come to a close.

We were going to leave "bright and early" in the middle of the night for Ireland. Were being the keyword there. We made it to Ireland — thank goodness — however, we had some bumps and bruises along the way.

We might have slept 40 minutes past our alarm, had to speed all the way to the airport, then run from the rental car drop-off thru the airport, hoping to make it to the gate in time. We also may have gotten between one and three camera speeding tickets (I'll have to let you know when we get the bill), sustained a broken suitcase and ran out of time to put gas in the rental car ... but all in all, we got unforgettable memories, permanent smiles and an adventure of a lifetime. Iceland sure was amazing!

And we are sure, just from the drive so far, that Ireland is going to supersede all of our expectations! We just have to survive driving on the left side of the road from the right side of the car on the tiniest roads you ever have seen. Cliffs of Moher, we are coming for you!

With Icelandic love and Irish blood, we can't wait to share our “Irish I was sober” adventures with you!!

xoxo,

H

Our Styled Adventure: Trekking Through Iceland

When you travel as a group of four, you end up with four different ideas for what to do and four different directions of where to go, so we have tried our best to mesh all those things into one great big adventure.

When you travel as a group of four, you end up with four different ideas for what to do and four different directions of where to go, so we have tried our best to mesh all those things into one great big adventure.

Miss M was super pumped up to check out a few of the highly recommended, super-popular tourist spots, so we started the first morning at the Blue Lagoons. After a long day of travel, it was pretty nice to relax in a really warm geothermal hot spring. However, the hot spring sucked all of the moisture out of our bodies and really tore up our hair, which is a hairstylist’s nightmare. 😒😢 The Blue Lagoons were named as one of the 25 wonders of the world by National Geographic, so it is definitely worth adding to your bucket list.

Our next stop was to check in to our super-cute Airbnb, which is right in the center of the shopping district in downtown Reykjavik. We dropped off our luggage and went out to explore the city. It is really cute, trendy and far more Scandinavian then any of us expected.

As we were taking in the sites and sounds of the city, we thought we heard a parade happening, so we went to investigate. It turned out that what we thought was a parade was a peaceful political protest at the parliament building. I'm not exaggerating when I say all of Reykjavik was there or walking there. It was pretty wild!

We walked for 8 miles, exploring countless streets, shops, monuments and hot dog stands. (Hot dogs are their fast food, and who doesn't love hot dogs?) When our tired legs couldn’t take us another step, we decided to go back to the apartment and make plans for day two.

We looked at all our tour options, from helicopter rides to boat rides, trying to decide what the best way to explore was — or what was best for all four of us fiery, independent women, anyway. We settled on renting a car and exploring on our own. After just a few hours of sleep, we were off on another day of adventure.

With our rental car in tow, we decided to head toward the town of Vik in hopes of finding the U.S. DC-3 plane that crashed in 1973 and was abandoned by the surviving crew. With coordinates in hand — 63°27'32.8"N, 19°21'53.2"W — we set off, not knowing what we would find or what to expect. It was epic in so many ways.

On our way, we saw some PONIES (hear the excitement!) on the side of the road and had to get a closer look. They actually let us PET THEM! It was amazing, and E took endless pictures.

As we continued on our drive, we found a waterfall and had a hot dog from a gas station, and then, we noticed the weather was a changin’ ... low clouds, lots of wind and some sleet?! Being from the CLE, we weren’t going to let a little weather stop us. We had already trekked for too long to stop now (about two hours), so we ventured forth anyway. How bad could it really be, right??

Well ... it wasn't bad, just a different adventure than we had expected. When we arrived at the parking area of our plane destination, we quickly realized it was going to be pretty chilly. It was 39 degrees with 60-mile-per-hour winds! Had we known about the pending weather and sheer distance to the destination, we probably wouldn’t have made the journey, but whatevs, we are in Iceland after all.

So after the windiest, coldest 58-minute 2.4 miles, we rolled up on the deserted wrecked plane. (And, when I say windiest I mean basically bent in half fighting against the wind to walk; it was pretty comical.) Despite the weather and wind, the site was beautiful in the eeriest way and totally worth the trek. The walk back to the car was easily worse than the walk there. We were soaked and a little wind burned but grateful. After finally warming up, we were laughing about the feat we had just conquered. Oh, and did I mention that E did it all without a coat?

We made our way back to Reykjavik and settled in for some dinner. M had a real hankering for "Icelandic fish and chips." After dinner, we wandered some more around the really cute town before calling it a night. After all our adventuring, our miles walked for the day totaled 11.38 miles!

Tomorrow is shaping up to be a very exciting day. It’s STYLED SHOOT DAY, and hopefully, we will see the northern lights. Stay tuned for sneak peaks and our adventures in Ireland!

Our Styled Adventure: From CLE to KEF

What started out as a whisper of an idea came to fruition today! Our once-in-a-lifetime dream trip is unfolding in front of us, three wedding-styling girls — Emily, Maggie and me — and our trusty sidekick, Marie. We are off to explore three different countries and shoot the most breathtaking wedding styled shoots you could ever imagine seeing.

Maggie, Haley and Emily in the CLE airport.

Maggie, Haley and Emily in the CLE airport.

A little back story ... Emily (E), Maggie (M) and I (H) love weddings — everything about them! We call ourselves the Dream Team. E is an exquisite wedding photographer; in the softest light, she catches the sickest picture ever. M is on the beauty team doing makeup; she knows just how to accentuate someone’s best features. And, as you probably know, I do hair — love hair! Ethereal and organic, I like to blend someone’s normal style with extraordinary touches to help her feel even more beautiful. It's an honor to be a part of someone’s very special day — we all feel that way really.

We would be remiss if we didn’t introduce you to Marie, our travel assistant for our trip and honorary Dream Team member. She is an awesome, gentle soul, who happens to be a school counselor, which is amazing! She came with us to be our trusty sidekick but also just to enjoy and experience this styled adventure.

Our lovely sidekick, Marie!

We first met up at the CLE airport, then flew to Boston where we picked up Marie and had an adventurous time finding our gate. (Imagine riding up and down the same set of escalators six times only to finally see the set of escalators you were missing all along!)

The best part about the flights and layovers were the friends we made along the way. On our first flight, we met three beautiful sisters from Boston and North Carolina who were thick as thieves. They reminded us of angels really: sweet and gentle and just what the doctor ordered for us girls.

In the Boston airport, while we waited for our next flight, we met a brother and sister duo, Hannah and Collin, who will be making an appearance later on in our trip, as we have made plans to meet up with them when we are in Dublin. Lots of Snapchats and nicknames later, our time seemed to fly by, and we were ready for our final flight. We were tired, but the excitement far overwhelmed the grogginess.

After a wild, long day of travel, we are so thrilled to say we made it to Iceland! (I just said that ... we are in Iceland?! Is this a dream or what?) Our first shoot and adventure will be in Reykjavik. Can you believe we might see the aurora borealis and that we get to explore a land of glaciers and black-sand beaches? Neither can we!! We are just so happy that after lots of laughs, and even some tears, we made it, and we can’t wait to share this incredible adventure with you!

If we were to pick a theme song for our first day of travel, it would be Sing Loud by Alpha Rev.

If you care to share this adventure along with us, you can:

With love,

H (+ E, M & Marie)

P.S. – Photo credit goes to Emily Millay Photography. Does she know how to capture a moment or what?
